Ollie's Bargain Outlet is located in the Columbus Square Shopping Center off of S.R. 161 in the Northland area.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet I had originally planned on going to the grand opening, but something else came up. I was able to visit this past weekend to see what the store had to offer. I have never been to Ollie's before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pretty impressed. To me it seems to be a cross between Big Lots and TJ Maxx/HomeGoods stores. Here's a sampling of some items I saw for less than $10: silicone potholders sunblock boys and girls decorated Schwinn bike helmets ($5.99, $7.99) as seen on TV products (fingers peeler $4.99, snuggy for kids, snuggy shaped like sleeping bag $9.99) Fiesta dishtowels team crocs for kids and adults ($9.99) Other items I saw that were more than $10, but a good deal: CityScene bed in a bag ($59.99) Plenty by Tracy Reese bedding (various prices) Rachel Ray cookware Sentry waterproof firesafe ($29.99) decorative pillow set ($14.99 for 2 pillows) tools suitcases ($19.99 for carry-on) The store seemed to have a large assortment of cookware, small appliances, OSU tailgating items, lawncare and garedening items, linens and a large area of rugs. They even had various types of laminate flooring for sale. I was impressed with the merchandise and how organized and clean the store was. I think it would be a good place to take a teen going off to college and a good place to look for Christmas presents.
