Inexpensive live music shows

Numerous acts play at Natalies Coal-Fired Pizza in Worthington. Shows are typically $5-$10. Catch central Ohio group The Salty Caramels this Friday night.

Here's my description of The Salty Caramels:

When the original The Salty Caramels group disbanded, Molly Winters found replacements and the band re-emerged. Joining Winters in the all-female band is Paige Strickling, Sarah Overdrier and Emily Ng. The group describes their music as “Americana,” I call it folksy. The members have a range of musical skills in addition to their voices, they incorporate the sounds of the bass, drums, viola, guitar, ukulele, kazoo, slide whistle, glockenspiel, washboard and my personal favorite, a hand saw played with a violin bow. Two things I love, music and pizza, come together Friday, Oct. 18, at 10 p.m., when The Salty Caramels play Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza. Tickets, available at vendini.com, are $8.
