Anchor Hocking/Oneida sale

I saw the ad and coupon in The Columbus Dispatch on Monday and stopped by the sale yesterday since I had the day off. If you need storage containers, baking items, vases, or flatware and kitchen accessories, you should visit the sale. I am excited to recycle my Ziploc plastic storageware and convert to glass storage containers. I bought a 10 pc. set for $12. The nice thing is they have special leakproof lids, so I don't have to worry about making a mess in my fridge or lunchbag. Some of the other glass items that were a great deal were olive oil/vinegar dispensers for $1.50, vases of various sizes for $1, Christmas tree shaped glass containers, glass storage containers and various glasses for wine and alcoholic beverages. Cake stands, casserole dishes, nonstick glass bakeware and salt/pepper shakers. They had some 3/5 qt. roasting pans, paper towel holders, banana hangers, shelves, flatware (single piece and sets) and kitchen utensils. I bought a nice knife set with a cutting board for $5 and a beer boot to use at a white elephant party for $3. If you like to do holiday crafts, the glass trees and boots would be nice gifts to fill with candy and finish off with a bow for a nice, inexpensive holiday gift.

*Bonus: Most of the items are Made in the USA and Anchor Hocking is from nearby Lancaster, Ohio.

The sale is located at 6665 Sawmill Road next to the Goodwill Store. Be sure to get a cart on your way in.
