Reclining theater seats

"Dreamseats"

Back in October, a friend and I went to see "We're the Millers" movie at the Dublin AMC. I had forgotten they were working on renovations at that AMC Theater during a previous visit in August. Luckily, they had installed their big, comfy reclining seats. I was really excited to try them out and was somewhat worried I might get a little too comfortable. The seats allow for more room and still have a cupholder for your drinks. They fully recline allowing you to lay down to watch the movie. The best time to go is before 5 p.m. to get matinee pricing. My sister and I saw "Prisoners" for $4.50, but prices are now $6.75 for matinee movies and $9.50 for other non 3-D movies for adults. The theater is located in the back area of the Dublin Village Shopping center at 6700 Village Parkway.

Marcus Crosswoods also has these wonderful reclining seats, called "Dreamloungers". The theater is a little pricier with matinee movies costing $7.50-$8.50 for reclining seating and $12 for non 3D movies after 5 p.m. The best day to see a movie at Crosswoods, 200 Hutchison Ave. on the north side, is Tuesday when all movies are $5 and popcorn and fountain drinks cost $2.50 apiece.

Don't go to a movie at one of the theaters with the new big, comfy reclining leather seats after a long day or you might fall asleep. Also, be warned-it's kind of hard going back to theaters who don't offer this level of comfort.
