You've probably seen the big mound with a cascading waterfall and the Galaxy Golf sign when driving east on I-70 from the far West Side. It's located off the Wilson Road exit at 3700 Interchange Drive. Inside the building is an interior play area for children. They have balls to jump in and an enclosed jungle gym. They also have some other interactive games and air hockey. Outside, they have two putt-putt courses. One is an adventure 18-hole course and the other is a 9-hole fun golf course for the little ones. The cost to do the adventure course is $6.99 for adults, $5.99 for children ages 12 and younger and seniors 60+. The fun course costs $5.99 for adults and $4.99 for children ages 12 and younger. Golfers can do the courses again for $2.00 per person. Allow about an hour to play the 18-hole course. It's fairly challenging and the course features ponds, a cave area and waterfall.
Indoor games such as skee-ball give out tickets kids can redeem for prizes. It's a good inexpensive place to take kids if the weather is bad or they are stir crazy, then you can play putt-putt golf and get out of the house.
