There’s a new menu at Matt the Miller’s, which features, among other things, “Dublin’s biggest burger” – three-quarters of a pound of beef loaded with toppings and set on a homemade rosemary potato bun. The pricetag: $12.50. That has nothing to do with my visit to the restaurant Sunday. As we complained that our spicy meat lover’s flatbread was missing the “spicy” (the promised jalapenos), the chef made sure his second attempt wouldn't have that problem. Even as we flicked off many of the verdant coins of heat, they couldn’t be avoided altogether. Our tongues wagged in the cool breeze. Maybe we'll go for the classic margherita next time.
