It pays to call first. Example: On a quest to eat a meal at Vonn Jazz Lounge (the subject of this week’s review), we stopped by for lunch, only to be welcomed by a locked door. I called and said something to the effect of, “Hey, I dropped by for lunch but you were closed.” The response was something to the effect of: “Yeah, we’ll resume lunch hours in the fall.” Restaurant hours change. No big deal, but Vonn’s web site posted no such change in hours. So there’s another lesson: Update your web site.
