I tend not to write about buffets, but Iíll make an exception with the Taste of Bali. The cityís only Indonesian restaurant will introduce a lunch buffet starting this Sunday (Aug. 30). What makes this interesting, obviously, is the food. It promises 18 entrees, including crispy crab (fried dumplings containing crab and cheese), gado gado (steamed vegetables with peanut sauce) and lomie (thick noodles with chicken and shrimp in a brown stock). And for dessert? Traditional cendol (coconut milk, starch noodles and shaved ice) will make it into the lineup. The buffet is offered Tuesday through Friday ($7.95) and Sunday ($11.95). The restaurant is closed Monday; only the regular menu is offered Saturday. Taste of Bali is located 2548 Bethel Road in the Carriage Place shopping center.
