Gallo’s Kitchen and Bar now has its liquor license. The delay was complicated, says general manager Matt Shindler. He chalked it up to “miscommunication all the way around.” The Italian and Creole restaurant, 2880 Nottingham Road in Upper Arlington, opened for three days but closed Sept. 22 because the license wasn’t in place, Shindler said. The restaurant, owned by the founders of Gallo’s Tap Room, will re-launch this Friday. “We still have some prep to do,” Shindler said.
