Save money and keep items out of the landfill by recycling them to use as seed starters. I am experimenting with cardboard containers and plastic water bottles this year to see how they work as seed starters. Also, classes will begin soon on permaculture, backyard and urban gardening.

If you drink bottled water, consider reusing your gallon jugs or buying and reusing containers for sale at the store. The new L.L. Bean store opened at Easton and will be holding special events all weekend and Outdoor Discovery Schools in the future.
