DeSales High School senior J.T. Blubaugh signed a letter of intent Nov. 14 to play lacrosse at Ohio State University.

Blubaugh, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound attacker from Galena, had 66 goals and 21 assists last season as the Stallions won their first Division II state title, defeating Rocky River 8-6. He was named Division II Attacker of the Year and also earned first-team all-region, all-state and All-American honors.

Blubaugh also was second-team all-district in football this season as a running back, rushing for 895 yards and 10 touchdowns as the Stallions finished 5-5.
