Three Grove City volleyball players to play in college

Three Grove City High School seniors signed letters of intent Nov. 14 to play volleyball at the collegiate level.

Keely Creamer signed with Northern Kentucky University, which moved up from Division II to Division I this fall, and Anna Conti (Kutztown University) and Ambyr George (Alderson-Broaddus College) signed with Division II schools.

This fall, Creamer led the Greyhounds with 296 kills, 41 aces and 77 blocks and was named first-team all-district. Conti had 715 assists, 27 blocks, 224 digs and 45 aces and was second-team all-district and George had 311 digs and 456 serve receptions.

Grove City finished 18-7 overall and went 9-5 in the OCC-Ohio Division to tie Newark for third behind Pickerington North (14-0) and Gahanna (11-3). The Greyhounds lost to Westerville Central 26-24, 25-14, 24-26, 23-25, 15-11 in a Division I district semifinal Oct. 25.
