Heicher to play lacrosse at Walsh

Hilliard Darby High School senior Becca Heicher signed a letter of intent Nov. 14 to play women’s lacrosse at Walsh University in North Canton.

Heicher, a defender, was honorable mention all-OCC-Buckeye Division last spring, when the Panthers finished 3-13 overall and were fifth (0-5) in league behind champion Upper Arlington (5-0).

Ramsey to play baseball at Valpo

Hilliard Darby High School senior Chris Ramsey signed a letter of intent Nov. 14 to play baseball at Valparaiso University in Indiana.

Ramsey, an outfielder, was second-team all-district and all-OCC-Central Division last spring. He batted .352 with 24 runs, 10 doubles, 11 RBI and five stolen bases.

Last season, the Panthers finished 14-14 overall and were second (10-4) in the OCC-Central behind Thomas Worthington (11-3).
