Reviews are starting to come in for the big reunion tour for Gordon Sumner and mates, including from one of the mates. Drummer Stewart Copeland had some harsh criticism of the tour-opening gig in Vancouver (although The Beat thinks some of the verbiage was tongue-in-cheek). Reviews of the band's Edmonton show were much better, even joking that Copeland himself would be impressed.

we have to admit, The Beat was lukewarm on The Police when they were big, but grew fonder of the band as time wore on. Still, not sure we're a big enough fan to make the trip to Cleveland to see them. The closest the tour gets to Columbus is the July 16 show at Quicken Loans Arena.
