Whether they’re Lake Erie fishermen or fans of the local sports teams, Clevelanders know about the one that got away. Not this time. On Sunday, Michael Symon, chef/owner of two Cleveland restaurants – upscale Lola (downtown) and more casual Lolita (Tremont) – bested seven other top-notch chefs in the Next Iron Chef competition. That means Symon will join the likes of Bobby Flay, Cat Cora and Masaharu Morimoto on Iron Chef America, a Food Network program. Watch Symon’s debut performance at 9 p.m. Sunday.
