Ever wonder what happens to costumes that get retired by BalletMet Columbus?
Why, you get them, of course. BalletMet's second annual costume sale is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Lots of stuff for the little ballet fans as well as adult wannabes (or collectors, of course - you don';t have to wear the costumes, but we won't tell if you really, really want to).
The company also is set to host an open rehearsal with entertainer/choreographer Maurice Hines from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in the BalletMet Performance Space. Watch an in=progress work as Hines puts BalletMet dancers through their paces, then visit with him afterward. Oh, and it's free.
