The Beatís interview with Drumline Live company manager Reggie Brayon was held the day before the Sugar Bowl. Brayon found time at the end of our chat to mention the upcoming game, and that it was the Big 10ís last chance to do something during the college football bowl season. Of course heís from the South, so heís generally a fan of teams from the Southeastern Conference, including Arkansas, and he made it clear for whom he was rotting. The Beat didnít have a chance to call Brayon back after the game to gloat. Brayon did mention the rich history of Big 10 marching bands, and credited them for their influence on the bands of historically black colleges and universities Ė the bands (generally) portrayed in Drumline Live.
