Krogers has a Scan Rite Policy that states anything that rings up at the wrong price is free to the customer. The problem is that the cashiers and some of the customer service managers do not know about the policy so the customer has to press the issue. I can't tell you how many times I have had to bring this to the cashiers attention. In my opinion, the customer should not have to be versed in the policy to receive the benefits of it. I strongly feel that each employee should be educated about the policies. The next time you have an item that rings up incorrectly make sure you ask about the Scan Rite Policy.
