Consumers, with Thanksgiving being this week I have some basic tips regarding leftovers. Most people cook not only enough for the dinner but for a few daysí leftovers as well. I cook 2 large turkey breasts; one for Thanksgiving dinner and another one so my sister and her family can take home plenty of leftovers as well. I double the amount of bread stuffing and mashed potatoes to send home with her also. Before you go preparing too much here are some guidelines for you to follow. Leftover poultry should be consumed within 3 days. Poultry broth and gravy should not be stored for more than 2 days in the refrigerator. Bring it to a full boil when you are reheating it.
