Friends, guess what time of year it is? I know it is back to school time but I am referring to something completely different. It is time to find out what major "hard to get item" is on your child's Christmas wish list. If your child or loved one has an item such as a Wii, a Playstation 3 or the newest Touch iPod on their list you may want to get it now. Certain games for the consoles like the Wii Fit, Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Rock-band may be available now but the closer you get to Fall the less likely you will able to get them. Rock-band I have heard is coming out with a new one sometime before the Holidays. Good luck with finding that. The drums and the guitar piece that go with the games will be difficult to find also. There is so much demand for these items. I was at Target and Circuit City today and they told me they are getting very limited quantities in. So my advice is to get them now or you will be sorry. Believe me when I tell you I know what I am talking about. My son always has asked for items that are in high demand and hard to get. When he was five I stood in line outside a mall at 5:00 a.m. the week before Christmas to get 2 Power Rangers. Of course he wanted certain colors not just any Power Ranger. Luckily I got them. I have always taken my role as Mrs. Santa very seriously. At another time I will tell you what I had to do to get a Sony PS 3 (60 gig) under the tree when it was newly released. As my family and friends well know, if you give me a mission I won't rest until I complete it. For now happy shopping!
