Friends, I am not a happy camper right now. My laptop that I have had for a little over a month died on me today. I was on it this morning and it was fine. When I came back from an appointment the only thing that appeared on my screen is blue lines. After going around in circles with the technical representative at Hewitt Packard they are sending me a box to mail it to them. They will fix it and ship it back. This is a about a 10 day process and I am truly frustrated. I had the software optimized when I purchased it and finally reached to the point that I had everynting saved on it that I need. Until I get it back I do not know if the hard drive is shot. That is the problem with being tied to technology. We are so dependent on our laptops, cell phones, text messaging , which I love and Blackberries etc. that we are lost without them. It was not long ago that it was a big deal just to have call waiting or caller I.D., which is a must. It is so empowering to be able to ignore calls from telemarketers. So for now I am forced back upstairs in the spare room on our desktop. The laptop was so much more convenient. Plus, I did not have to share it. Woe is me, I will keep you posted on it's status.

For now happy shopping!
