Friends, the first thing that I always do before heading out to shop is to scour the weekly ads. After I find what the items are that I am looking for I circle them with a highlighter. If I have coupons to match up to the sale prices I get them out as well. Then I am ready to make the shopping list and head out.

Make sure your list is not etched in stone. Once arriving at the store you may find some unadvertised sales or manager's specials. They may have a rump roast marked 40% off or a package of ground sirloin for 30% off. At that point I defer back to the list and make a few quick changes

Often times there will be electronic coupons next to a product. If it is a better deal than what I had originally planned on buying I will change my mind. It is all about being a flexible shopper. Be ready to find deals and adjust your list accordingly. For now happy shopping!
