To save money avoid shopping at convenience stores. One quick stop to pick up a gallon of milk or loaf of bread can cost double of what you will pay at a grocery store. You are paying for the convenience. These stores are usually open 24 hours and are located in highly dense areas where they will get a lot of traffic. Many are within gas stations.

The minute you walk in the door of a convenience store you will find bags of overpriced snack foods such as chips, cookies, Hostess cupcakes and donuts, candy bars, pop and many other tempting goodies. If you are hungry, tired and in a hurry you can quickly overspend on items you would not normally buy. Unless it is a dire emergency, steer clear of shopping at convenience stores. For now happy shopping!
