I don't want to say I called it ... but I totally called it.
Nerd alert! Nerd alert! Reportly, J.J. Abrams, savior of the "Star Trek" franchise, will direct Disney's "Star Wars: Episode VII"!
The Twitterverse is already all aflutter at the prospect of Abrams helming the next "Star Wars" ... could I be more excited? Probably not. This dude gets it. That's why he topped my list of possible directors when the prospect of additional "Star Wars" movies was first announced.
Of course, it's not like the "Star Wars" world hasn't been prone to a false rumor or two, but my fingers are crossed this is legit.
