Starting June 8, your Sundays will be anything but lazy.

This summer, there will be no such thing as a "lazy" Sunday.

Columbus Flea creator Nikki Portman has joined forces with The North Market to transform "Artisan Sundays" into "Market Flea." Beginning June 8, more than 30 vendors will descend upon the Farmer's Market Pavilion to offer Columbus shop-a-holics and foodies an eclectic experience.

"The idea is to create an even more vibrant atmosphere that is always changing and most of all, best in class," North Market Executive Director Rick Harrison Wolfe said in a press release.

"Market Flea" will offer an ever-changing cast of artists, jewelry designers, and vintage sellers to keep the weekly event fresh and interesting. The usual suspects from the North Market's coterie will be on hand for snacks/shopping fuel.

According to Wolfe, both Portman and the concept for "Market Flea" made perfect sense for The North Market.

"[Columbus Flea creator] Nikki [Portman] is a best- in-class creative and has captured the essence of what makes a curated flea market cool and most of all fun," Wolfe said.

"Market Flea" will take place every Sunday from June 8- Oct. 26 at the North Market, located at 59 Spruce St. Vendor applications will be accepted through May 7. Information packets for vendors are available upon request. Please email for information.
