Most memorable kitchen experience: My most memorable kitchen experience recently was working with my staff to create a three-meal event for 2,000 people. There is very little that is as rewarding as putting together an extremely complicated off-site event and seeing everyone so happy with the food they received. It’s one of the experiences that gives us the energy to keep going the rest of the year.
Best thing about the Columbus dining scene: Creativity. We have some extremely talented foodies in Columbus. We as operators have to make sure we do not underestimate our customers. Many of our guests are talented in their own right and will not be fooled by shortcuts.
