Shaun Jones and Jared Phillips each rushed for more than 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns Friday as the Dublin Coffman High School football team defeated Lima Senior 35-7 in non-conference action.

Jones rushed for 109 yards on 21 carries. His 4-yard scoring run gave the Shamrocks a 14-0 lead in the first quarter as they improved to 2-0.

Matt Glynn opened the scoring by catching a 20-yard pass from Cole Stoudt, who finished 6-for-9 for 110 yards and an interception.

Lima Senior, which was destroyed by Coffman 63-0 a year ago, closed to 14-7 at the half when Danyel Watson caught a 35-yard pass from Jason Ward.

Jones (1 yard) and Phillips (39 yards) scored in the third quarter to put the game out of reach at 28-7.

Phillips closed the scoring in the fourth quarter with a 5-yard run.

The Shamrocks will play at Westerville Central on Friday.
