Jourdan Wickliffe returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown Friday as the St. Charles Preparatory School football team improved to 3-2 with a 38-0 victory over visiting Sandusky.

After a 42-yard field goal by Brad Marchese extended the lead to 10-0, Shane Bauman connected with Michael Ryan on a 33-yard scoring pass to give the Cardinals a 17-0 halftime lead.
In the third quarter, Alex Evans scored on a 3-yard run before Bauman and Ryan hooked up on a scoring play again, this time from 54 yards for a 31-0 lead after three quarters.

Joe Spahr closed the scoring with a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter.

The Cardinals will open CCL-Silver Division play Friday at DeSales, which improved to 5-0 with a 38-7 victory over Findlay on Friday. The Stallions are ranked No. 1 in the Division II state poll.
