It's tough to make it into -- and stay in -- our girls Super 7.

Just ask Dublin Scioto. The Irish lost by one point in overtime and they go from No. 3 last week to out this week. We know it's harsh, but we believe there was no choice. Delaware can consider itself legimitized after edging the Irish on Dec. 20 and finally deserving of a spot in the Super 7 for the first time this season.

Africentric lost its second game this week, but its tough to punish the Nubians too much for a loss Saturday to Toledo Waite, a 2008 Division I district runner-up. While the Nubians remain in Division IV, theirother loss was to 2008 Division II state runner-up Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown.

Consider the move-ups by Pickerington Central, Pickerington North, GroveCityand Watterson appropriate rewards for strong weeks.

If Delaware can continue its perfect run with a win over undefeated Big Walnut on Tuesday, the Pacers will further prove that this is a special team. The Golden Eagles might make it into poll next week if they can beat Delaware, although it would be their first win overa team with a winning record.
