The Pacers improved to 5-4. North dropped to 4-3.
Delaware opened a 17-8 lead early in the second quarter and maintained the lead throughout. The Warriors closed to within 27-24 at the half, capped by Ralph Hill's driving shot down the lane.
North cut the deficit to two points twice in the second half.
Sean Rothermel dominated throughout for the Pacers, as he scored inside to push the lead to 55-46 midway through the second quarter. Jacob Thuman connected on a 3-pointer to pull North within 62-60 with 4.9 seconds remaining, but Kyle Eberst's two free throws sealed the win for Delaware.
Rothermel scored 25 points, followed by Patrick Kennedy with 12 and Nick Potter with 10.
Hill scored 18 points for North before fouling out inthe final minute. Thuman and Kenny DeBoer added 12 points.
"They would make a run and we answered, and we'd make another run and they would answer," Delaware coach Larry Eberst said. "That's a sign that we're becoming more of a mature team. Early in the year we wouldn't do that, but we answered the runs."
