The Grandview Heights High School wrestling team will be back at the Division III state tournament for the first time since 2006 after Michael Falk finished third at 152 pounds on Saturday at the district meet at Heath.

The Grandview Heights High School wrestling team will be back at the Division III state tournament for the first time since 2006 after Michael Falk finished third at 152 pounds on Saturday at the district meet at Heath.

Falk beat Sean Prather of West Jefferson 6-3 in his third-place match. Grandview finished 19th as a team with 36 points as Pleasant won with 138.5.

The state tournament will be held Thursday-Saturday at Ohio State.

The next-best finisher was Nathan Blackwell, who went 2-3 and finished sixth at 140 pounds. Also competing at district were James Pilling (119, 0-2), Alex Minnillo (145, 2-2), Clay Teach (189, 2-2) and Dan Satterthwaite (215, 0-2).
