The Hilliard Davidson High School wrestling team won a Division I district championship Saturday, scoring 119.5 points to finish ahead of runner-up Marysville (104.5).

The Hilliard Davidson High School wrestling team won a Division I district championship Saturday, scoring 119.5 points to finish ahead of runner-up Marysville (104.5).

The Wildcats qualified six wrestlers to the state tournament Thursday-Saturday at Ohio State.

Angelo DiSabato (112 pounds) and J.T. Rice (160) each won district titles. Chase Delande (130) and Spencer Delande (171) were third. Tyler Rich (125) and Belal Shalash (189) were fourth.

The top four wrestlers in each weight class qualified for the state tournament.

Darby was 15th (46.5 points) as Trevante Pitts (125) and Joe Crabtree (152) advanced. Pitts was third and Crabtree was fourth.
