North's Austin Marsico (103 pounds) finished runner-up on Saturday at the district tournament at Hilliard Darby losing to Logan Strope of Lancaster 3-2. Marsico's teammate, Matt Ferguson (160), finished fourth losing to Springboro's Brandon Walker 5-1 in a third-place match.

Central's Wuan Tatum (189) finished runner-up after being pinned by St. Charles' Kyle Sanders at 4:38. Tatum is the Tigers' first state qualifier since Nick Mernedakis finished 1-2 at 215 in 2006.

In the team competition, North finished 16th with 46.5 points and Central was 21st with 34.0 points behind champions Hilliard Davidson (119.5).
