The Westerville South High School girls swimming team tied Lakota East and Cuyahoga Falls for 28th with 16 points and the Westerville Central boys team finished tied Lancaster and Massillon Perry for 38th with six points at the Division I state meet, which concluded last Saturday.

Cincinnati St. Xavier won the boys title with 322 points, finishing ahead of St. Charles (265). Upper Arlington won its fifth consecutive Division I girls title with 349 points, finishing ahead of Watterson (176).

The Central girls and the North girls didn't score at the meet.

South junior Abby DiSabato placed sixth in diving with 379.75 points Feb. 26. Senior Jenna Lindner placed 14th in the 500-yard freestyle in 5 minutes, 7.9 seconds and was 18th (1:53.79) in the 200 free.

Central junior Drew Thompson was the only boys representative from Westerville. He placed 11th (4:40.45) in the 500 freestyle and 22nd (1:45.69) in the 200 free.

For the Warhawks girls team, junior Haley Agee finished 18th (24.38) in the 50 free and was 22nd (1:08.16) in the 100 breaststroke. Freshman Taylor Schwartz was 21st (1:00.41) in the 100 backstroke. Schwartz, Agee, Kimi Kentner and Alanna Paynter were 20th (1:52.67) in the 200 medley relay and 21st (3:43.69) in the 400 free relay.

For North, junior Jen Bichsel placed 24th (1:01.88) in the 100 backstroke and Courtney Fischbach was 21st (1:00.81) in the 100 butterfly. Bichsel, Elizabeth Roche, Fischbach and Allison Semmler were 23rd (1:54.45) in the 200 medley relay.
