Callahan and her teammates struggled in the first half of the season as the Panthers opened 6-3. North warmed up in the second half, however, and won the OCC-Ohio Division and earned coach Dave Butcher his 21st consecutive district title.

Callahan was a big reason why.

"When we needed key baskets all year long, she scored them," Butcher said. "She improved dramatically on the defensive end of the floor. She was our go-to player even if she wasn't playing well earlier in the year."

Callahan, who will play at Northern Illinois, averaged 12.0 points and saved her best for last. Against West Chester Lakota West, in a regional semifinal March 10, Callahan scored a season-high 28 points.

Callahan was first-team all-OCC and second-team all-district.
