The 5-7 guard averaged 16.7 points, 3.9 assists and 3.6 steals and shared Player of the Year honors in the OCC-Cardinal with teammate Kesi Hess.

Both also were second-team all-district.

In Gorniak's four seasons at Scioto, the Irish were a combined 87-10 overall.

They finished 22-2 this season after losing to Reynoldsburg 40-37 in a Division I district semifinal March 2.
