1/2 gallon water
1 cup sugar (add more if needed)
1 additional lemon and orange
Roll lemons and oranges by hand until soft. Cut in half and squeeze juice, removing seeds. Pulp is optional. Add water and sugar, stir well. Peel additional lemon and orange and cut in -inch cross sections so slices look like rays of sunshine. Add to drink as garnish and stir well again. (Leaving the rind on the fruit garnish will cause the drink to become bitter after 30 minutes.)
Serve immediately over ice.
