The Worthington Kilbourne High School football team scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to come from behind and defeat Westerville North 34-19 on Friday.

Kilbourne trailed 19-14 until running back Dan Eurich scored on a 32-yard run with 8 minutes, 9 seconds left in the fourth quarter. A failed 2-point conversion run left the score at 20-19.

The Wolves then forced North into a three-and-out on its next possession to get the ball back. Six plays later, Kilbourne running back Sheldon Tillman scored from 13 yards out and the point after gave the Wolves a 27-19 lead with 4:06 left.

Kilbourne still wasn't done. Wolves defensive back Matt Wylly intercepted North quarterback Kalen King on the Warriors' first play on the next possession. That set up a 6-yard scoring run from Eurich just four plays later, giving Kilbourne a 34-19 lead with 2:04 remaining.

Tillman led a powerful Kilbourne rushing attack with 219 yards and three touchdowns. Altogether, the Wolves rushed for 357 yards.

"I didn't want to see us go down like that," Tillman said. "Coach talked to us in the locker room at halftime and said we needed to step it up, and we did."

North controlled the game through the first three quarters. The Warriors went up 13-0 with 5:07 left in the second on rushing touchdowns by Hosea Thorton and King. Kilbourne got on the board with 3:54 left before halftime on a 38-yard run by Tillman. Just three plays into the third quarter, North extended its lead to 19-7 on a 51-yard run by Kory Watson, who was in at quarterback.

The Warriors didn't help their cause, earning six major penalties in the second half, three of them holding.

The Warriors rushed for 265 yards. B.J. Campfield led the way with 140 yards on 11 carries.

"Number one, they just wore us down," North coach Mike Owens said. "The fourth quarter was the turning point, and they were just better than us. We're a young team and we made so many mistakes. There's just so many things we need to correct right now."
