Melissa Grzybowski of Georgetown, Texas, daughter of Sue and Randy Grzybowski of Seven Hills, and Ryan McDermott, of Georgetown, Texas, son of Ruth Ann and Patrick McDermott of Westerville, have announced their engagement and plans to be married.
 
The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Toledo with a master’s degree in speech language pathology. She is a speech language pathologist at Metroplex in Killeen, Texas.
 
Her fiance graduated from Westerville North High School and received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Bowling Green State University. He is employed with HEB while pursuing a career in law enforcement.
 
The wedding will take place June 8, 2013, in Parma.
