Bexley asking residents to move cars from roadways
Bexley’s snow plows and salt trucks are out in force in an effort to clean up after the snow storm that struck central Ohio with rain, sleet and snow Wednesday, Dec. 26.
The city is asking residents to move parked vehicles from roadways to give crews room to work.
“With the winter weather season upon us, we want to remind all residents of the importance of keeping streets clear for our snow plows and salt trucks when wintry conditions are imminent,” Mayor Ben Kessler said. “If possible, please use your driveway or garage to park your cars rather than on streets. Our drivers can do a much better job clearing streets when they do not have to contend with parked cars.”
All of Franklin County is under a Level 1 snow emergency today, as a winter storm system continues to affect the area.
Residents are being asked to exercise caution on the roadways and avoid travel, if possible.
