This press release came straight from the city of Grove City:
Pursuant to Grove City Ordinance 352.02, the City of Grove City has declared a snow emergency in order to maintain community safety and clear main thoroughfares of snow and ice, which will remain until lifted.
Under this emergency, parking is prohibited on all posted “Snow Emergency Routes.”
Vehicles are to be removed as soon as possible, but no later than 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, to facilitate the clearing of streets. Any vehicle parked on these routes after this time may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
Residents with access to off-street parking should avoid parking on city streets to allow plows to clear secondary streets.
Citizens are urged to use extreme caution when traveling and venture out only if absolutely necessary.
