For Upper Arlington, crews are at work, but 'it's business as usual'

Upper Arlington's snow-removal crews expect a long day, according to the city's community-relations director.

Emma Speight said city crews were busy all day Dec. 26, battling the winter storm that hit central Ohio. Many counties are under snow emergencies. Locally, the city of Grove City has issued its own snow emergency.

"It's business as usual here," Speight said. "We have had a crew of 15 out since early this morning, salting and plowing. It's going to be a very long day."

Speight said city services continued to operate Wednesday, though.

"We have not closed the senior center. It is still open," she said.
