Wed in July at mansion
Alison VanArtsdalen, daughter of Joseph VanArtsdalen of Canal Winchester and Rebecca Hoover of Groveport, was married to Matthew Stevens, son of Phillip and Deborah Stevens of Circleville, on July 14, 2012, at the Adena Mansion and Gardens in Chillicothe. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Gregory Swann.
The maid of honor was Amber Harvey, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Calore, Sarah Davis, Kari Saunders and Marissa Reichley, friends of the bride.
The best man was Mark Stevens, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jonathan Corbett, Adam Senig, Erik Grossnickle and Nathan Kenworthy, friends of the groom.
The bride graduated from Canal Winchester High School in 2007 and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Capital University in 2011. She is a registered nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
The groom graduated from Circleville High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in biology from Capital University in 2008. He is a third-year medical student attending the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The couple took a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C.
They reside in Groveport.
