PrintMichael and Teresa Leemans of New Milford, N.J., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Kate, to Travis Michael Simon, son of Michael and Tina Simon of Hilliard.
The bride-to-be graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in television production from Ithaca College in 2007. She is employed as an assistant story editor at Bunim/Murray Productions in Van Nuys, Calif.
The groom-to-be graduated from Hilliard Davidson High School in 2001 and received a bachelor's degree in animation from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 2005. He is employed as an animator at Warner Bros. Animation in Burbank, Calif.
A spring 2014 wedding is planned.
