Two new initiatives at this year’s 10TV Health & Fitness Expo are designed with safety in mind.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will staff a “take-back” area where visitors to the Expo can drop off outdated and unwanted prescription drugs.

The sheriff’s office also will provide free photo identification cards to parents for each of their children. The cards include the child’s height, weight, hair color, photo and fingerprint.

The 10TV Health & Fitness Expo runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 N. High St., Columbus. Free tickets are available online at 10TV.com.
