Recipe: Butter-braised onion dip, courtesy of Connor O'Neill of Hubbard Grille.

Ingredients: • 1 cup sweet onion, julienned • 1/4 cup butter • 3/4 cup sour cream • 1 tsp champagne vinegar • 1 tsp chives, chopped • 1 tsp salt • Pinch pepper Method:

Cook sweet onions in butter until caramelized (light brown sugar color).

Allow to cool.

Add chives and remaining ingredients and combine. Serve with potato chips.

Yields: 2 cups
