Butter-braised onion dip

Ingredients:

 

  • • 1 cup sweet onion, julienned
  • • 1/4 cup butter
  • • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • • 1 tsp champagne vinegar
  • • 1 tsp chives, chopped
  • • 1 tsp salt
  • • Pinch pepper

 

Method:

Cook sweet onions in butter until caramelized (light brown sugar color).

Allow to cool.

Add chives and remaining ingredients and combine. Serve with potato chips.

 

Yields: 2 cups
