Bishop Watterson High School will present its fall play, You Can't Take It With You, Nov. 1, 3, 8 and 9, at the school, 99 E. Cooke Road, Columbus.
Written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, You Can't Take It With You debuted in 1936. It is the story of the eccentric Sycamores and the straight-laced Kirbys and what happens when their children fall in love and decide to get married.
The cast includes senior Allison Freed as Penelope Syca-more; senior Maddie Cumbo as Essie; senior Belle Brown as Rheba; junior Dominic Rippey as Paul Sycamore; freshman Jacob Erney as Mr. De Pinna; senior Ben Lampe as Ed; senior Brayden Steller as Donald; senior Aidan Roach as Martin Vanderhof; senior Hailey Mattes as Alice; sophomore John Markiewicz as Henderson; junior Nick Gasior as Tony Kirby; freshman Sam Palazzo as Boris Kolenkho;, freshman Emma Koehler as Gay Wellington; junior Andy Simmons as Mr. Kirby; freshman Emily Jacknewitz as Mrs. Kirby; and junior Caitlin Yeck, senior Shannon Cogan, sophomore Michael Carmody and sophomore Maya Steller.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1, 2 p.m. Nov. 3 and 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9. A special Drama Alumni Reunion will be held before the Nov. 9 performance with a social hour at 6:30 p.m. in Dominican Hall.
