Ashley Jakupcin, daughter of Dr. Gary and Karen Jakupcin of Dublin, was married to Tony Simon, son of Patrick Simon of Garfield Heights and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Sanders of Hudson, on Aug. 24, 2013, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Powell. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. James Black and Deacon Thomas Berg Sr.

A reception was held at Heritage Golf Club in Hilliard.

The matron of honor was Kelsey Dieringer, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ellen Simon, Shannon Lawson, Christina Amweg and Jenna Nussbaum.

The best man was Bryan Rogers. Groomsmen were Michael Simon, Joseph Wornoff, Alex Eberlyn and Preston Engel.

The bride graduated from Bishop Watterson High School in 2003. She received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2007 and received a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Akron in 2010. She is a Cross Creek School clinician for the Buckeye Ranch.

The groom graduated from Twinsburg High School in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in accounting information systems from Ohio Dominican University in 2007. He is an inventory control accountant for Limited Brands.

The couple took a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

They reside in Blacklick.
