Truett, Evans will join Douglass on Grandview school board

The Grandview Heights school board will welcome two new members next year, including local business owner Stephanie Evans, who topped her fellow write-in candidates on Election Day.

Unofficial results from the Franklin County Board of Elections show incumbent board member Grant Douglass earning the most votes with 1,070.

Former Grandview High School principal Jesse Truett followed with 1,033 votes.

The third available seat went to Evans, owner of Stephanie Evans Photography. She brought in 696 votes.

The other two write-in candidates – former Grandview mayor John Leutz and former Grandview school board secretary Sandy Kipp – earned 561 and 266 votes, respectively.

Incumbent board member Katie Clifford will step down at the end of the year.
