* Clean Green, 10 a.m. Saturday at the Nature Center, 1415 Darby Creek Drive. Discover how to use eco-friendly products to safely clean your home.

* Mammals of Ohio, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Nature Center, 1415 Darby Creek Drive. See skins, scat, skulls and skeletons of past and present mammals.

Blacklick Woods Metro Park

* Wildlife Observation Night, 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Nature Center. Look for nocturnal animals outside the Nature Center windows.

* 41st Annual Winter Hike Series, 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cherry Ridge Program Area. Enjoy a two-mile hike through the Walden Waterfowl Refuge, and, if you like, and additional two- or four-mile walk off-trail.

* Audubon Bird Hike, 9 a.m. Sunday at the Nature Center. Search the woods and fields for birds. Hot drinks provided.

Highbanks Metro Park

* Metro Five-0: Breathing, Laughing & Other Goods Things, 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Nature Center. Learn exercises to improve breathing, combined with laughter yoga to improve mood. No mats or experience necessary. All activities can be done while sitting. For ages 50 and older.

Inniswood Metro Gardens

* Annual Quilt Show, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday (show dates, Feb. 1-9) at the Innis House. View quilts made by the members of the Columbus Metropolitan Quilters.

* Audubon Afternoons, 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, 505 W. Whittier St. Test water samples and learn about the qualities of water and why it is so important.

* Improve Your Photography, 2 p.m. Sunday at Spring Hollow Lodge, 1069 W. Main St., Westerville. Learn about composition, exposure and camera operation. Beginner to intermediate levels, all camera types.

* Firemaking Challenge, 2 p.m. Saturday at the Slate Run Wetlands. Find some wood and kindling and then learn how to make a fire using primitive tools and techniques. For ages 10 and older.

Three Creeks Park

* Preschoolers: All About Bears, 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Heritage Nature Center, 551 Wirt Road. Learn about bears through stories and activities. Teddy bears welcome to attend.
